Olympic Mishap Leads to US$250K Adult Site Offer for Pole Vaulter

French pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati cleared 5.60m in the Paris 2024 qualification round but missed all three attempts at 5.70m and did not advance to the final.

Footage of one failed attempt, where his crotch appeared to clip the crossbar, spread widely online after the event.

Adult site CamSoda then offered Ammirati up to US$250,000 for a 60-minute webcam show. Reports at the time said he had not publicly accepted the offer.
