An SBS Transit bus caught fire on the Pan Island Expressway towards Tuas on 13 February. Footage from the scene shows the bus reduced to its frame after the blaze.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was alerted at about 11.45am, before the Clementi Road exit. Firefighters put out the fire with two water jets.
No injuries were reported. SBS Transit said the bus was off service and had no passengers on board, while the bus captain got out safely. The cause remained under investigation.
