An e-bike rider and a bus captain argued on the morning of 13 April 2026 in Clementi, after the rider said the bus had strayed into his path. The exchange continued on board the bus, with commuters waiting while it went on, and the rider repeatedly asked for the police to be called.
Tower Transit said in response to media queries that its investigation found the bus captain had made a right turn from an incorrect lane and moved into the path of the e-bike. The operator said the captain was counselled on safe driving.
The confrontation was captured on video from inside the bus and circulated widely online. No injuries were reported.
