Jennifer Gwynne, who dated Elon Musk while they were at the University of Pennsylvania, sold a collection of college photos and other mementos for just over US$165,000.
The sale included 18 photographs, a birthday card and a 14-karat gold necklace that Musk gave Gwynne in 1994. CBS News reported that the necklace sold for US$51,008, while a dorm room photo of Musk lying upside down sold for US$21,889.
The photos show Musk in dorm rooms, at social gatherings and with Gwynne during their relationship from 1994 to 1995. The auction was completed in September 2022; SG Daily revisited the images in a March 2026 carousel.
