A GetGo car caught fire along Lornie Highway beside MacRitchie Reservoir at about noon on 25 August.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force told MS News that the fire involved the car's engine compartment. Firefighters put it out with a hosereel, and no injuries were reported.
GetGo said it activated a support team after learning about the fire. The company and the authorities are investigating the incident, and the cause has not been established.
