The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority caught 18 motorists for traffic offences at Woodlands Checkpoint during stepped-up enforcement from 3 to 5 April 2026. The operation targeted queue cutting and other dangerous behaviour on the approach roads.
A clip posted by SG Daily shows cars taking an exit lane and crossing the double white line to cut into the queue, while drivers who waited their turn stayed in the correct lane.
Of the 15 motorists caught at the departure lanes, 11 were made to turn around and rejoin the queue. Four drivers of foreign-registered vehicles were barred from entering Singapore for offences that included crossing double white lines and queue cutting. Twelve drivers were referred to the Traffic Police.
The authority said it will continue enforcement against motorists who disregard traffic rules at the land checkpoints, and that those caught queue cutting will be sent to the back of the line.
