A video shared by SG Daily on 5 April 2026 shows a man at the pickup counter of the KFC outlet at HomeTeamNS Bukit Batok questioning staff. He says there is no manager or supervisor on duty five minutes after he arrived, claims no sanitising had been done, and asks whether the outlet has a licence to operate in Singapore.
Stomp reported that the clip drew more than 166,000 views and 810 reactions on Facebook, and another 164,100 views on TikTok. The post carried no explanation of what led to the complaint.
Food shops in Singapore are licensed by the Singapore Food Agency, which publishes suspensions and demerit points for licensed premises. KFC Singapore did not respond publicly to the clip.
