Muhammad Faisal Jumahat was sentenced to 14 months' jail on Aug 12, 2024. The 36-year-old pleaded guilty to four charges, including sexual exposure to a minor, voyeurism and committing an obscene act.
The case began after he exposed himself to an 11-year-old girl along a sheltered linkway in Bukit Panjang on Aug 2, 2021. Her mother contacted the police, and officers arrested him later that month.
Police found 410 obscene films and 358 upskirt videos on his devices, according to Channel NewsAsia's court report. They also recovered videos he had recorded while exposing himself or committing obscene acts in public places.
The offences in the videos took place between 2015 and 2021. The court heard that his conduct continued for about seven years.
