Two Sengkang households gave differing accounts of a months-long dispute that began after a seven-year-old child rode a scooter along their shared corridor. The child's mother acknowledged that the child later moved a neighbour's parcel and shoes, and said her husband apologised.

Stomp and AsiaOne interviewed both households after videos showed rubbish being thrown outside one unit. The neighbour admitted leaving the rubbish and damaging a door camera, while also raising complaints about noise and personal mobility aids in the corridor.

The households said a mediation session did not resolve the dispute. Police confirmed that reports had been lodged and that they were looking into the matter.
