Oil and bunker traders recorded a median monthly gross wage of S$14,911 in June 2023, the highest figure among occupations covered by the Ministry of Manpower's annual occupational wage data.
Chief information, technology and security officers followed at S$13,840. Enterprise and solution architects recorded S$13,682, while business valuers recorded S$13,649.
The figures are medians for full-time employees in each surveyed occupation. They are not starting salaries or a guarantee of what an individual worker earns.
MOM released the wage data in June 2024. The oil and bunker trader figure was based on a sample of 87 workers.
