Passengers crowd a Thai Airways transfer counter in footage shared on 29 September. The accompanying Thai text says they had waited for hours without answers or assistance. The clip does not establish how long each person had been waiting.
Thansettakij separately reported on 28 September that passengers at Suvarnabhumi Airport had waited hours for baggage and complained of receiving no updates from staff. That report describes the wider disruption, rather than verifying the circumstances of everyone in the clip.
According to The Nation on 29 September, Thai Airways cancelled several domestic and international services after ground-handling problems at the airport. Chief executive Chai Eamsiri apologised, and the airline said it had deployed extra staff to sort and deliver delayed baggage.
