Singapore is getting a weekend-long Pokémon takeover this November, with a themed fun run at The Kallang, a parade at Jewel Changi Airport and a blue-costumed Pikachu appearing exclusively in the city.
The Pokémon Company announced the programmes on 12 August as part of the franchise’s 30th anniversary celebrations. The main events will run simultaneously on 7 and 8 November 2026 across The Kallang, Changi Airport and Jewel.
Pokémon RUN 30 comes to The Kallang
Pokémon RUN 30: Singapore Edition will turn a fun run into a Pokémon adventure. Participants will choose a first partner Pokémon before taking on themed checkpoints involving Gym Battles, wild Pokémon encounters, a Pokédex Search Sheet and opportunities to evolve their partner.
A Festival Zone will also be open free of charge to runners and non-runners. It will include a Time Tunnel covering 30 years of Pokémon, experience zones, a Pikachu meet-and-greet and a pop-up store. Registered runners will receive a runner’s kit that includes a UNIQLO-sponsored event T-shirt.
The special Pokémon RUN 30 merchandise was showcased at the anniversary press conference in Singapore, giving local media and content creators an early look at the collection.

Yazed Osman, Group Head, Events & Placemaking and Place Management at The Kallang Group, said:
“Great communities are built through shared experiences, and that’s what Pokémon RUN 30 is all about. Whether you’re taking part in the run, exploring the Festival Zone or soaking in the atmosphere with family and friends, The Kallang is a destination where people of all ages can connect and create lasting memories. We are proud to partner with The Pokémon Company to bring this iconic global celebration to Singapore and to continue curating experiences that bring communities closer together.”
Registration, ticketing details and the full activity lineup are available on the official Pokémon RUN website.
All 27 first partner Pokémon will parade at Jewel
Over at Changi Airport and Jewel, PokéXciting! will bring together nostalgia, entertainment and interactive activities. Singapore is one of five participating Asian cities alongside Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Manila and Bangkok.
The headline attraction is a Pokémon Parade at Jewel’s Forest Valley featuring all 27 first partner Pokémon from nine generations. The Pokémon Company says it will be the first parade of its kind in the world. Changi Airport Terminal 3 will also host stage shows and meet-and-greet sessions.
Throughout the activation, visitors can meet Pokémon during special sessions, shop for PokéXciting! merchandise exclusive to Changi Airport and Jewel, and explore Pokémon-themed activities and photo spots across both destinations.
PokéXciting! Pikachu will appear at events in all five cities, wearing a different costume colour in each location. Singapore’s version will debut in blue and will also appear in Pokémon GO as part of a related in-game event.
Susumu Fukunaga, Corporate Officer of The Pokémon Company, said:
“Singapore is the perfect place to celebrate this important milestone, and we are excited to work with our local partners to bring PokéXciting! to life at Changi Airport and Jewel. We hope fans will enjoy discovering the many experiences we’ve created, from meeting their favourite Pokémon to joining the celebrations with family and friends and creating lasting memories as we mark 30 years of Pokémon together.”
Jayson Goh, Executive Vice President, Airport Management at Changi Airport Group, said:
“This year, Changi Airport is pleased to partner with Pokémon to celebrate its 30th anniversary during our annual year-end festive season. Just as the airport connects millions of travellers from around the world, Pokémon has inspired and united fans across generations and borders. We look forward to welcoming visitors to enjoy special Pokémon activities at Changi Airport and creating delightful, memorable moments for fans, travellers and families alike.”
Lee Ching Wern, Chief Executive Officer of Jewel Changi Airport, said:
“We are honoured and delighted to host the iconic milestone celebrations of Pokémon’s 30th anniversary at Jewel. Since Jewel’s opening, the Pokémon experience — presented through our flagship Pokémon Center SINGAPORE store on Level 4 — has been a must-visit highlight that brings about much delight to our visitors. Building on the excitement of the newly relaunched store, which recently unveiled a fresh new concept and expanded offerings, we look forward to further bringing to life the joy of Pokémon at Jewel through the PokéXciting! 30th anniversary celebrations in the pipeline. Pokémon fans can look forward to a vibrant line-up of year-end festivities at Jewel, starting from the historic first-in-the-world Pokémon Parade at the majestic Forest Valley, as well as other immersive and fun interactive activities to be unveiled in the coming months.”
Shopping rewards and themed displays run into 2027
A separate anniversary shopping campaign starts on 3 November 2026. It will run until 31 January 2027 at Jewel and 28 February 2027 at Changi Airport. With a qualifying receipt from participating outlets, shoppers can purchase or redeem original Pokémon merchandise featuring unique designs.
Changi Airport-exclusive items include cabin-size and check-in luggage, while Jewel will exclusively offer an umbrella with a waterproof sleeve. Plush toys, a thermal bottle and a travel blanket with bag will be available at both locations.

Changi Airport will display Christmas-themed Pokémon decorations through the end of 2026, followed by Lunar New Year decorations in early 2027. Terminal 3’s Departure Hall will also have a Pokémon Experience Zone with Nintendo Switch 2 game experiences and complimentary Pokémon Trading Card Game trial sessions.
At Jewel, visitors can follow a Pokémon Trading Card Game Quiz Rally around the mall. Enlarged displays will feature the 27 first partner Pokémon from nine generations, with a prize available for participants who complete the quiz.
Special Pokémon meet-and-greet sessions will also take place at the Terminal 3 Departure Hall.
Pokémon GO adds a Singapore-exclusive Pikachu
Pokémon GO will run a Singapore in-game event on 7 and 8 November. Trainers can encounter Singapore’s exclusive blue-costumed PokéXciting! Pikachu and take part in Timed Research and a GO Stamp Rally.
The first cross-region GO Stamp Rally begins on 12 September 2026 at official PokéXciting! venues across Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Singapore, Manila and Bangkok. The rally consists of five stamps, with each city hosting a PokéXciting! PokéStop that showcases a unique stamp featuring its region-exclusive costumed Pikachu.
Collecting a stamp also unlocks an encounter with the local PokéXciting! Pikachu featuring that city’s Location Background.
