Police restrained a foreign man on Bangkok's Khao San Road following an alleged confrontation with other tourists. Footage shows officers approaching the man in the street.
IBTimes UK reported that Canadian tourist Marsala Gueye said the man repeatedly directed racist remarks at him during the September 10 incident. The report said an officer used a Taser after the man continued approaching the group.
Police said no arrest was made. The report quoted Lieutenant Colonel Komonsit Sawatmongkol of Chanasongkhram Police Station as saying that officers separated the two sides and had not witnessed physical assault when they arrived.
