SG Daily reposted a clip on 21 March 2026 showing police officers confronting a man on Bencoolen Street. The incident took place on 13 September 2022.
Police said the 21-year-old ran when officers tried to check him at Cheng Yan Place and allegedly took out a retractable baton during the chase. He dropped it after an officer drew a Taser and was subdued without the Taser being fired.
A knuckle-duster was also allegedly found on him. Police arrested the man over weapon and suspected drug-related offences, and said no one was injured.
