SHIGGA SHAY releases 'OK CAN', a multilingual rap track built around Singlish

Singapore rapper SHIGGA SHAY released 'OK CAN' with South Korean rapper pH-1 and Japanese rapper JP THE WAVY in May 2026.

The track is built around the everyday phrase 'OK can'. Its verses move through English, Singlish, Chinese, Malay, Tamil, Korean, Japanese, Thai and French.

SHIGGA SHAY said he wanted to capture how naturally the phrase is used in Singapore and Malaysia, then show how it could travel beyond its place of origin.
