Malaysia's Vehicle Entry Permit information counter in Woodlands drew about 200 motorists by 2pm on its opening day, Aug 19, 2024.
The Straits Times reported that the office at 186 Woodlands Industrial Park E5 issued queue tickets to the first 100 drivers and asked the rest to return another day. At the time, the counter helped motorists with existing applications and explained VEP requirements, but did not process applications or issue tags.
