A 70-year-old driver admitted pushing and groping a taxi driver after their side mirrors collided in Bedok.
The incident happened near the junction of Bedok North Road and New Upper Changi Road on 5 March 2023. The court heard that Chua Jin Leong tried to filter into the taxi's lane before both side mirrors struck each other.
The dispute continued in the road. Chua pushed the 65-year-old taxi driver, grabbed him by the neck and groped him. A medical report recorded tenderness to the taxi driver's scrotum and upper back, and he received four days of medical leave.
Chua pleaded guilty on 31 July 2024 to a rash act and voluntarily causing hurt. Sentencing was adjourned.
