A car caught fire along Orchard Road near Concorde Hotel at about 11.05am on 3 November 2026, sending thick smoke over the road.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said the fire involved the engine compartment and was extinguished with a water jet. No injuries were reported.

Police officers helped control traffic while emergency crews responded. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
