Formula One fans faced long shuttle bus queues while leaving Sepang International Circuit after the opening day of the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia on 2 October 2026.

Footage shows large crowds waiting near rows of buses outside the circuit. CNA reported that some spectators waited more than three hours, while others walked several kilometres away from the venue.

Rapid KL said 95 free shuttle buses would run every 10 to 15 minutes from KLIA Terminal 2, Mitsui Outlet Park and Bandar Baru Enstek. The schedule was subject to traffic conditions, and more than 200,000 spectators were expected over the three-day event.
