A dispute between two groups of golfers at Ponderosa Golf & Country Resort in Johor Bahru escalated into a heated exchange on 14 August 2026. The footage shows a course marshal standing nearby as members of both groups argue and trade insults.
One group claimed the disagreement began after golf balls were picked up and thrown away. That account remains an allegation from one side of the dispute.
The resort confirmed the incident to Stomp. Its management said a course marshal was present and that it was in contact with both parties in the hope of resolving the matter.
