Two horses were seen loose on the roads in Pasir Ris on the morning of 3 March 2026, with clips showing them moving past cars and a bus near Elias Road and Pasir Ris Drive 3.
In one clip a man can be heard telling a brown horse to stay as it walked onto the road, and passers-by followed the pair until police took both animals into custody.
Gallop Stable, the stable the horses came from, said both were back in their stables and that a vet had assessed them to be in great shape. No injuries or damage were reported. Commenters linked the sighting to the Year of the Horse and joked about the pair taking a stroll along what the Chinese term for road literally calls a horse path.
