Jay Park tried out Singlish and Hokkien phrases during his set at Waterbomb Singapore on Aug 24, 2024.
The rapper closed the festival's first night at Siloso Beach. CNA Lifestyle reported that he used phrases including "chio bu", "leng zai" and "Singapore bo beh zhao" while speaking to the crowd.
Local rapper Shigga Shay joined him on stage and stepped in when the crowd tried to teach Park another expression. Park also performed tracks including "Mommae" and "Smoke" during the set.
Waterbomb's first Singapore edition ran on Aug 24 and 25, 2024. The event has ended.
