Malaysian police arrested a 29-year-old man after a 14-second video showed a BMW 325i drifting along the winding road to Genting Highlands.
Bentong district police chief Zaiham Mohd Kahar said the driver reported to the district traffic office on 6 March 2026. Police detained him, seized the car and opened an investigation under Section 42(1) of Malaysia's Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving.
SG Daily shared the clip on 10 March. Police said the video had begun circulating on TikTok on 2 March.
