A man returned a purse that had been left at a supermarket in Semenyih, Selangor, but its owners said RM10,000 in cash was missing.

The owners, believed to be a couple from China, said CCTV showed a child picking up the purse and handing it to an adult. The man who returned it denied taking any cash.

Kajang police confirmed that they received a report and arrested a man to assist with the investigation. He was later released on police bail while the investigation continued. No finding of guilt had been made.
