Police arrested a 56-year-old man for public nuisance after he allegedly blocked vehicles at Serangoon Central on 1 July 2026.
Footage shows him standing near a pedestrian crossing at 261 Serangoon Central Drive, signalling to drivers and stepping in front of vehicles. Police said they received a call for assistance at about 9.40am.
The man had minor injuries and was taken to hospital conscious. AsiaOne reported that he repeatedly hit a van while trying to direct traffic. Police investigations were ongoing when the reports were published.
