Multiple vehicles caught fire at the rooftop car park of Golden Mile Tower on 31 August 2024. The building is on Beach Road, near the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority building.
SCDF was alerted shortly before 1pm and extinguished the fire with two water jets. Initial findings showed that the affected vehicles were not electric vehicles.
About 50 people, mainly tenants and staff, were outside after the building was evacuated. The Projector cancelled its screenings at Golden Mile Tower for the rest of the day.
