Police arrested a 43-year-old man after he disrupted officers responding to a fire at Yishun Ring Road on 3 July 2026.
The source clips show him calling officers 'Pinky and the Brain' and refusing to speak with them while police and Singapore Civil Defence Force personnel managed the scene. Police said he repeatedly used vulgarities, made inappropriate remarks and refused to stop when officers engaged him.
A Singapore Police Force news release said the man spat on an officer and was due to be charged on 6 July with using criminal force to deter a public servant from carrying out his duty. Mothership reported that the fire sent one child to hospital for smoke inhalation and prompted the evacuation of 25 residents.
