Passengers on SMRT bus service 972 had to change buses twice after two vehicles ran into problems during the same journey.
SMRT said the first bus stopped on the Pan-Island Expressway after its captain heard an unusual sound from the undercarriage. A replacement bus arrived, but its captain found that one of the rear tyres was punctured.
A third bus took the passengers onward. SMRT said everyone was transferred safely and the disruption was resolved by around midnight.
