Sunway Puteri Hills in Iskandar Puteri was previewed in our June 2026 feature as a dining destination with views towards the Straits of Johor and Jeffrey Cheah Circuit. The preview described plans for 10 bungalow-style restaurants.
The development has since reached its soft opening. The Star reported the launch on 10 August 2026 and described a 10-acre site with 13 dining spaces. That later figure refers to dining spaces, rather than the restaurant count in the earlier preview.
The official directory lists Made on Monday, a'rest Cafe, Kaetsu, Makan Makan by Hock Kee, Reef Seafood and Khunya Thai Kitchen Signature. Other entries, including Kenny Hills Bakers by the Sea and Cili Kampung, were still marked as coming soon when the directory was checked. Do not assume every advertised tenant is already serving.
