A dark, narrow cloud formation was filmed above residential blocks in Woodlands on the afternoon of 30 September 2026. The clip shows the formation extending beneath a broad storm cloud while rain obscures part of the skyline.
The Meteorological Service Singapore warned of moderate to heavy thundery showers with gusty winds across northern, western and central Singapore that afternoon. PUB also reported a flash flood at Riverside Road in Woodlands, which later subsided.
The video does not establish that the formation touched the ground or was a tornado. It is described here as tornado-like based on its visible shape.
